As visitors to campus, media members are required to follow all parking rules and regulations set forth by the University. Vehicles must be parked within all lines of a legal, non-reserved parking space at all times. Parking on roadways, sidewalks, grass or any areas not designated for parking is prohibited. Reserved hours for campus parking lots are posted on signage at the entrance to each lot. Student parking lots are reserved 24 hours a day, seven days a week, as are individual parking spaces reserved for specific users, such as Americans with Disabilities Act accessible and service vehicle spaces.
Single-day visitor parking permits may be obtained at the Parking Office, the Centre County/Penn State Visitor Centeror at any Parking Information kiosk. Access to the East, Eisenhower and Nittany parking decks, as well as Lot Red A and all Orange lots is available for $6, while access to the Commuter lots (Lot 44, Stadium West and Porter North) is available for $4.
Hourly parking is available at the East, HUB and Nittany parking decks at the rate of $1 per hour. Short-term parking is also available at meters and pay stations throughout campus. For local or regional media who frequent the University Park campus yearlong media parking passes are available.
